Description:

Blair West is supporting an international insurance organisation based in Ponteland as they look to add a Management Accountant to their growing finance team following acquisitive growth.

Joining an established team, this role will oversee the development of Finance Administrators while effectively supporting the Finance Manager at month-end with monthly management accounts and reporting.

The opportunity:

* Posting and reconciliation of many aspects of financial information.

* Produce month-end management accounts information.

* Communicate with the wider technical team.

* Ensure compliance with all sanctions and payments in line with internal policies.

* Support internal or external audit activity as required.

* Processing documentation and information, including data inputting and generating correspondence in response to queries received.

* Offering general administrative support to team members as directed by management and responding to external enquiries from clients, colleagues, and other third-party service providers.

* Use of case management software.

You'll be the ideal candidate for this position if you have:

* AAT qualified or appropriately qualified by experience.

* Experience with exchange rate calculations.

* Strong experience in MS Office, particularly Excel.

* A keen eye for detail.

* Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
