Axon Moore are partnering with a PE-backed SME based in Chorley to recruit a newly created Management Accountant position.
This is an excellent opportunity for a first-time mover looking to step into a broad and varied role within an established and fast-growing business. With the opportunity to drive change, add real value and shape the role around their own strengths, the successful candidate will gain exceptional exposure across the wider business.
The role will provide the opportunity to work closely with two highly experienced and supportive ACA-qualified mentors, offering fantastic guidance, development and exposure to a wide range of commercial and technical areas.

Key responsibilities
Production of monthly management accounts
Preparation and maintenance of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Preparation of monthly P&Ls
Supporting the business throughout the annual statutory audit
Production of statutory accounts
International reporting
Full ownership and accountability for the accuracy of the balance sheet
Acting as a key finance point of contact and business partnering across multiple divisions
Supporting with ad hoc projects and wider business initiatives
