The job;
As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in providing financial insights, analysis, and support to facilitate informed decision-making within the organization. You will be responsible for overseeing various financial activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all accounting processes. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make a significant impact on our company's financial performance.

Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary, to support strategic decision-making.
Manage the budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate projections and monitor performance against targets.
Conduct cost analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvements across projects and departments.
Maintain fixed asset registers, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and oversee month-end and year-end closing procedures.
Prepare financial reports for stakeholders, including management reports, cash flow statements, and financial statements in accordance with regulatory standards.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in management accounting, implementing changes as necessary to enhance financial processes and controls.

The person;

Professional accounting qualification or part qualified (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
Proven experience in the construction or property development industry.
