Management Accountant

A brand-new opportunity has become available for a skilled Management Accountant to join a industry-renowned FMCG business based in Lincoln. This is a role born out of business growth and designed to support the Group Accountant with budgeting and strategic planning processes.

Duties will include:
* Preparation of the monthly management accounts, as well as the preparation of budgets and forecasts, expenditure analysis and reporting
* Conducting variance analysis against agreed budgets and forecasts
* Collaborating with key stakeholders across the organisation - both finance and non-finance
* Leading and presenting period trading results - offering continuous improvement to meet the needs of the organisation
* Provide financial insights, scenario analysis and evaluate viability of new business initiatives
* Responsibility for Financial Planning and Analysis
* Offer training to wider team on financial procedures and systems
* Ownership of financial processes including any updates as required
* Assisting with year-end audit process

Person specification:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA studier
* Previous experience of working as a Management Accountant
* Experience in Budgeting and Forecasting
