My client based in Blackpool are looking for a temporary Management Accountant to join their team on a 6 month contract which may be extended.

Job Description
o Maintain monthly management accounts including Day to Day transactional accounting, Daily reconciliations of all banks, Accurate intercompany transactions and reconciliations in real time.
o Provide financial analysis as needed, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
o Process payroll in a timely manner, in liaison with HR and managers from both business entities.
o Production of annual budgets.
o Prepare monthly financial reports.
o Implement cost-saving strategies.
o Monitor spending and financial performance.
o Advise management on financial decisions and risks.
The Successful Applicant
o A professional qualification in accounting or finance with 5+ year's experience.
o Experience with creating financial statements.
o Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
o Strong organisational and communication skills.
o Knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
o Experience in developing and managing budgets.
o The ability to work well within a team environment.
