Management Accountant

Description:

Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be supporting a well-known and established business based on the outskirts of Southampton, which is seeking to recruit a newly-created Management Accountant position.

 Key Responsibilities: 

Support Financial Accountant in preparation of monthly management accounts.
Support the finance function in the production of forecasts and annual budgets.
First stage review on finance documentation as required.
Support the Financial Accountant with preparation of annual financial statements and year end process.
Support across the Commercial and Finance team on projects.
Development of procedures and processes within the department to contribute to the success of the organisation.
Financial analysis to support decision-making within the company
Other Ad Hoc tasks as required 
Key Skills & Experience: 

Part Qualified and progressing towards full chartered accountant status.
Experience of working in a finance team
Experience in the preparation of financial reports for both business month-end and year-end processes.
Have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft software packages, primarily excel formulas and pivot tables, and experience of recognised accounting software.
Confident to challenge and able to influence business behaviour and projects.
Be a team player and self-starter, with the ability to meet deadlines.
Have good verbal and written communication skills
