Management Accountant

Description:

A key appointment within the finance team at this well renowned organisation based in Norwich. A varied role that will suit an individual with a breadth of knowledge and proven experience as a Management Accountant.

This is a newly created position, you will be main source of financial support for the key stakeholders, preparing and interpret the regular financial information which is presented across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include;

Financial Support for Budget holders
• Act as a trusted finance business partner
• Assist Management to manage their financial resources by proactively forecasting future income and costs, highlighting where decisions may be necessary.
• Meet face to face with all Group Leaders each month to review their financial position

Financial Reporting
• Preparation of monthly management accounts with detailed and accurate financial information and interpretation.
• Preparation of Statutory Accounts

Budgetary control
• Preparation of forward projections, annual budgets and forecasts
• Preparation of 5 year business plans and reserves analysis

The candidate:
The successful candidate will be the main contact for key stakeholders therefore we are seeking a confident part-qualified or qualified accountant, QBE also considered, who can demonstrate their ability to build internal relationships. Experience will include experience in preparing management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and business planning.
