Management Accountant
SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a large nationwide business in the recruitment of a Management Accountant.
We are looking for a highly skilled individual, dynamic and curious, keen to learn and to progress.
Key responsibilities:
- Weekly cash flow forecast including agreeing with intercompany counterparties.
- Maintain the fixed asset and stock register.
- Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts and KPI reporting and ad-hoc analysis for senior management.
- Monitor and analyse financial performance against budget and flash, identify variances and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist with Group Reporting
- Maintaining balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with year-end audit process
- Assist with VAT return preparation and submission
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting and analysis.
Key Requirements:
- Part Qualified accountant (actively studying)
- Excellent Excel and data manipulation skills
- Experience as a Management Accountant or Assistant Management Accountant in a fast-paced changing environment
- Ambitious with strong commercial acumen and proven business partnering skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Proactive and self-motivated
