Title: Management Accountant
Type: Full-time, permanent
Location: Central London, 1-day WFH
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + bonus + benefits
Our client is a multinational Shipping group, headquartered in London. They are currently looking for a Management Accountant to join their high performing finance team on a permanent basis.
Responsibilities:
* Responsibility for the preparation and control of intercompany, related party and third party reconciliations.
* Preparation of bank reconciliations and payment instructions
* Preparation and input of journal entries for approval by Group Accountants
* Assisting Group Accountants with quarter end procedures.
* Assisting Chief Accountant with further accounting tasks when required
* Ensuring that accounting controls are adhered to at all times
* Maintenance and quarterly uploading of the Company’s lease, depreciation, deferred charges, interest accruals and other accounting schedules as required.
* Researching technical accounting issues and preparation of file notes and accounting memos for non-routine commercial transactions. (depending on experience)
Role Requirements
* The ideal candidate will be a part qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA studier with at least 3 years experience in an accounting function
* Ability to work on own initiative or as a part of a team
* Ability to meet deadlines
* Candidates must have advanced Excel skills/analytical skills
