Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per annum

Description
Key responsibilities of a Management Accountant will include:
Prepare accurate monthly management accounts within agreed deadlines.
Produce profit and loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow reports.
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Assist with budgeting, forecasting and annual financial planning.
Analyse financial performance and investigate variances against budget.
Produce monthly KPI reports and provide commentary for senior management.
Business partner with department managers to support informed decision-making.
Assist with year-end accounts and liaise with external auditors.
Maintain strong financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies.
Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and reporting.
Support cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
Assist with ad hoc financial analysis and projects as required.
Profile
The successful Management Accountant will:
Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
Have previous experience as a Management Accountant with full ownership of month end close
Manufacturing experience preferable, however not essential
Strong understanding of management accounting principles.
Experience using accounting and strong MS excel skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across the business.
High attention to detail and the ability to work to strict deadlines.
A proactive and commercially minded approach with a continuous improvement mindset.Job Offer
