Cherry professional are delighted to be working with an education industry focused company in their search for a part-qualified management accountant who is keen to learn and continue developing their skills, whilst integrating in as a valued member of their finance network.
If you’re currently studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA/AAT, this role would go hand in hand with these studies and enable you to put your lessons into everyday practice. The role on offer is very diverse, including full management accounts preparation for entities within the client group, budgeting, forecasting and regular business partnering with key budget holders.
A good benefits package is on offer here, with the successful candidate only needing to journey into the office twice a week. They will also receive financial support for their continued study.

Role: Management Accountant
Location: Nottingham
Salary: Up to £37,000
The role includes:
- Production of monthly management accounts packs for multiple group entities.
- Budgeting and forecasting for each entity.
- Maintenance of the general ledger.
- Meeting with and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and budget holders.
- Performing accounts analysis, with a focus around improving efficiency and performance.
- Journal production, including for prepayments and accruals.
For this role, it is important that you:
- Are either suitably qualified for the role through experience or actively studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA/AAT.
- Possess previous experience with management accounts
- Are an accomplished user of excel.
- Are a comfortable communicator and enjoy building and growing relationships.
