This growing multi-site business based in Farnborough is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team. You will be working for an industry leading organisation that continues to expand across the UK and will offer great career progression. Furthermore, this role will be fully office based with occasional travel required to other UK sites. Management Accountant - About The Role
In this role you will be reporting into the Head of Finance and will be managing a small team of 2. You will be required to manage the month end management accounts process as well as working with multiple sites to ensure full productivity. This is a hands-on position and you will be required to support with the management of the wider finance team.
Your key responsibilities will be:
* Full preparation and production of the monthly management accounts
* Assist with preparation of budgets, forecasts and month-end schedules
* Analysing cost data relating to commercial activities to aid decision making by managers
* Overseeing the trial balance and monitor ledger transactions
* Maintenance of asset registers and depreciation schedules
* Managing a small finance team and aiding their personal development
* Improving the finance processes to ensure maximum efficiency
* Supporting the Head of Finance with ad hoc project work
The successful Management Accountant will have:
* Previous experience in a similar position
* Qualified/part qualified/QBE candidates will be considered
* Previous experience of working in a multi-site business would be advantageous
* Experience of managing staff is essential
* Strong system/IT skills
