Smart Solutions are working with a global leader who are seeking a Multi‐Skilled Maintenance Technician with an Electrically Bias to join their team based in Merthyr. You will provide first line maintenance response to all breakdowns within the fastest possible time, minimising any a disturbance to operations.

Duties of the Multi‐Skilled Maintenance Technician:

* To ensure all work is carried out safely within current health, safety, environmental legislative Standards and company procedures.

* Respond to breakdowns within a number of different environments, including industrial, offices and electronic laboratories, aiming to ensure facilities are available for use, minimising downtime and disturbance to operations.

* Effective trouble shooting, repair and maintenance of equipment and systems such as overhead cranes, compressors, extraction systems, roller shutter doors, breathable air equipment, spraying booth, access control, intruder alarms, lifting systems, air conditioning and ventilation systems, building management systems.

* Site services include electrical distribution, compressed air and water systems including domestic, fowl and hydrant distribution.

Requirements of the Multi‐Skilled Maintenance Technician:

* Maintenance technician experience in an industrial environment is absolutely key.

* Experience with computerised maintenance management systems

* Able to work efficiently with Microsoft Office based software

* PLC, BMS and systems fault finding

* Operation of mobile access equipment

* Role is subject to SC clearence

* Full driving licence (due to business location)
