Clear Sky Recruitment is pleased to be recruiting on behalf of an established international manufacturing organisation based in the Blackwood area of south Wales. As a result of their continued success, we are seeking to recruit an experienced Maintenance Technician at their world-class modern manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responding to minor breakdowns
* Preventative maintenance
* Major breakdowns
* To achieve compliance with all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements, Food Safety requirements, Legislative requirements,
* GMP and company policies and procedures.
* Preparation of sub-assembly
* Other tasks as reasonably requested by the Manager
Key Requirements:
* A formal qualification in appropriate subject ONC/HNC, BTEC/City and Guilds in a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Discipline/apprenticeship
* Knowledge of high speed and/or food processing production
* Machine setting
* Fault finding and problem solving
* Plc, pneumatics, robotics (desirable)
* Adaptable and able to connect with others
* Team orientated/ collaborative
* Able to operate & take decisions independently/ enjoys autonomy
* Flexibility
Hours of work:
Days/Afters/Nights (3-shift rotating)
