Description:
Are you passionate about maintaining equipment to the highest standards of usability, operation, and safety? My client is currently looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to be based near Hayes/ Southall.
Your responsibilities:
Carry out efficient and cost-effective repair processes to maintain fleet equipment.
Record all costs, including labour, for approved repairs and ensure correct parts are used from stock.
Maintain a safe, organised, and well-stocked workspace and mobile fitter pack with necessary equipment and tools.
Inspect fleet tools for repair within 5 working days and provide accurate repair estimates.
Collaborate with managers to review estimates and arrange repair work accordingly.
Make informed decisions regarding equipment repair, disposal, or return based on estimated repairs.
Conduct repair work on equipment and be prepared for occasional site visits
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, lifting hydraulic, and power access tools required.
Possession of a full driving license is essential for occasional site visits.
You will be working Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 17:30 - 47.5 hour week
Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000 based on experience.
