I'Anson Bros Ltd is one of the leading animal feed manufacturers in the UK, a family-owned company with a 124-year history and a forward-looking approach to business, serving a local, national, and international customer base. The headquarters is based in Masham, North Yorkshire, with an exciting new facility also nearing completion at Dalton, Thirsk.
With a focus on team spirit, we are looking for a self-motivated individual to be a part of the electrical and mechanical maintenance team.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician will include:
Assisting in the electrical and mechanical maintenance on both sites
Improving the company's high standards through preventative maintenance
Providing cover with the small maintenance team for a 24-hour operation
Working some weekend cover, which is part of the rotating call out patternThe successful candidate will:
Be self-efficient, enthusiastic and able to work effectively with minimum supervision
Ideally be 17th/18th edition electrically trained
Have previous experience in mechanical and electrical machine maintenance
Ideally have PLC programming and fault-finding experience
Be flexible to provide cover for 24-hour operation
Able to work some weekend cover, which is part of the rotating call out patternOn offer is an attractive package including entry to the company pension scheme, salary commensurate with experience.
