Maintenance Technician
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team.
As a Maintenance Technician at Kaplan Living Bournemouth, you will uphold site cleanliness, address maintenance issues, and assist with wider building-related tasks, including event setup, equipment checks, and supply management. The Maintenance Technician role enhances the student experience and supports college operations.
Maintenance Technician - What you’ll bring to the role

Have a passion for customer care and a sensitivity to students needs

Have experience in a customer facing environment
*
Have recent experience of working in a maintenance / caretaking role
*
Have experience of working in an effective Health & Safety culture in line with legislation.
*
Ability to offer flexibility in working hours including provision of out of hours support in an emergency if required
*
Some experience in plumbing and electrics
Maintenance Technician - Essential skills/ experience
*
Have experience in customer service, hospitality or student service provision, ideally accommodation
*
Be able to work as part of a team, and work on own initiative
*
Some experience in plumbing and/or electrics

Budget management.

Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
