About the Role

As an experienced Maintenance Technician, you will be maintaining all equipment in our Converting Hall. This is a day-based role working Monday to Fridays, with a strong planned maintenance focus. Working together with technical colleagues, you will be part of the Asset Care Team and focused on both mechanical and electrical maintenance.

What You Will Do

You will be working on a variety of equipment such as rewinders, conveyors, wrappers and robots. Reporting to the Asset Care Leader, you will be working alongside and collaborating closely with other technicians across the production units. Teamwork is key to being successful in this role as you will be involved in projects as well as coaching and mentoring our Shift Op Technicians and apprentices whilst liaising with our third-party engineering suppliers.

You will be taking ownership of our breakdowns and ensuring that RCA's are closed out and follow ups are completed to the highest standard.

Who You Are

We are looking for you to have the following:

*

Proven technical experience working in a manufacturing environment.

*

Maintenance background.

*

Qualified to NVQ 3 or equivalent standard as Maintenance Technician

*

A clear communicator, willing to challenge effectively

*

Root Cause Analysis knowledge.

*

Able to work with others successfully – internally and with external suppliers/contractors.

Although not essential, the following would be desirable:

*

HNC level qualification in engineering

*

PLC experience

*

Permit writing

*

Working knowledge of SAP
