Description:
Are you handy with a paintbrush, love gardening, and have a knack for fixing things? We're looking for a versatile Maintenance Technician to join a team in Coventry for the summer of 2024. This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the upkeep of a student accommodation block and gain valuable hands-on experience in maintenance work.
**Responsibilities:**
- Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, gardening, and cleaning/decoration of rooms.
- Handle basic plumbing tasks and change light bulbs as needed.
- Assist with ad hoc site tasks such as inventory of rooms and minor maintenance jobs.
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience in maintenance or related field preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
