Description:
Reed Engineering are recruiting for an Electrically Biased Maintenance Technician on behalf of a leading heavy industrial manufacturer near Cardiff. This is an opportunity to join a well-established site, working on a range of production and process equipment in a safety-critical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Electrical fault finding and repairs across production plant and site services
Planned preventative maintenance and continuous improvement activities
Maintenance of motors, drives, control panels and instrumentation systems
Calibration and testing of sensors, transmitters and process controls
Supporting plant start-ups, shutdowns and commissioning projects
Ensuring compliance with site safety procedures and permit-to-work systems
Working closely with operations to maximise plant reliability and uptimeThe successful candidate will be a proactive engineer with strong fault-finding capabilities, excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.
