Great opportunity to work as a Maintenance Team Leader for our client - A world-leading automotive manufacturer.

Staffline is recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader at BMW in Swindon.

The rate of pay is £46,989 per annum (£25.10 per hour) based on a 36-hour week.

This role offers between 17.5% - 30% shift premiums.

This is a full-time role. We have a variety of shift patterns which include rotating shifts, 4 on 4 off, or 5 out of 7. The hours of work could fall within the following:

- 6am to 4pm
- 4pm to 2am
- 7am to 7pm
- 7pm to 7am

Your Time at Work

As a Maintenance Team Leader, you will be responsible for:

- Leading, coaching, and training a team of technical associates within an automated area. Driving the overall performance within your area, you will put your problem-solving skills into practice and push for continuous improvement to ensure targets are met.
- Taking accountability for steering Maintenance/Production activities within your area of responsibility.
- Responding to all facility failures and returning plant and equipment to a running condition in the shortest time using appropriate skill/knowledge.
- Analysing all appropriate data to identify trends and remedial actions.
- Providing advanced technical solutions and enrolling support as appropriate.
- Drive and support the optimisation of plant/equipment, cycle time, process specifications and technical availability within the team.

Our Perfect Worker

Applicants will need to have recognised engineering apprenticeships, NVQ level 3, BTEC, or equivalent. Ideally have experience in a manufacturing maintenance environment.

Experience in a similar role is required.
