Electrical Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider – St James's Park, London – Up to £57,000 per annum
This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading FM service provider delivering maintenance services within a prestigious and iconic Central London property near St James's Park. The building combines architectural significance with modern operational requirements, creating a diverse and fast-paced environment that supports a range of occupiers and stakeholders. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the delivery of all electrical maintenance across the site. You will lead a team of engineers, ensuring planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive works, statutory compliance, and electrical safety are delivered to the highest standards. This is an ideal role for an ambitious supervisor looking to progress their career within a well-established and growing FM business.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday - 08:00am – 17:00pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of electrical maintenance engineers and specialist subcontractors.
Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive electrical works are completed safely, efficiently, and to contractual standards.
Review and approve Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for electrical works.
Issue and manage Permits to Work in accordance with site procedures and Health & Safety legislation.
Carry out technical fault finding and provide support on complex electrical systems.
Monitor and update CAFM systems, ensuring maintenance records are accurate and up to date.
Ensure full compliance with current electrical regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and company policies.
Produce maintenance reports, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and assist with contract performance reviews.
Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal stakeholders to maintain exceptional service delivery.
Identify electrical plant and system defects, coordinating remedial works where required.
Assist with quotations, technical recommendations, and scopes of work for electrical projects.
Support the Contract Manager with the day-to-day contract delivery and continuous service improvement.Requirements
City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation or equivalent.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or Maintenance (desirable).
18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Previous experience in a supervisory or lead electrical maintenance role within Facilities Management or Building Services.
Strong understanding of electrical compliance, RAMS, permits to work, and safe systems of work.
Experience using CAFM systems and producing maintenance reports.
Strong fault-finding skills across commercial electrical systems.
Experience working within commercial and/or high-end residential environments.
Excellent communication, organisational, and customer service skills
