Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider – West End, London – Up to £53,000 per annum
Are you an experienced Maintenance Supervisor looking to take ownership of a prestigious commercial building in the heart of London’s West End?
CBW is currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a leading FM service provider within a high-quality commercial property in West End, Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who is ready to take the next step or an established supervisor looking for greater responsibility within a prominent, fast-paced commercial environment.
What You'll Be Doing
Leading and supporting the on-site engineering team, ensuring consistently high standards of technical performance and service delivery.
Taking ownership of the day-to-day engineering operation of the building.
Managing the delivery of PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring works are completed safely and within agreed timescales.
Remaining hands-on where required, supporting engineers with fault finding, maintenance and technical issues.
Acting as a key point of contact for the client and building stakeholders, providing technical updates and maintaining strong working relationships.
Managing specialist subcontractors from attendance through to completion, including reviewing reports and progressing remedial works.
Maintaining strong standards of statutory compliance, health & safety and site documentation.
Identifying, scoping and producing quotations for additional works and small projects.
Monitoring outstanding works and ensuring actions are followed through to completion.
Supporting the continued reliability and performance of the building's mechanical and electrical systems.Hours of Work
Monday to Friday – 08:00am to 17:00pm
What We're Looking For
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Previous experience working within commercial Facilities Management / building services.
Supervisory, Lead Engineer or senior engineering experience.
Strong understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance.
Experience managing engineers, specialist subcontractors, quotations and remedial works.
Confident and professional client-facing skills.
Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.
A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of the day-to-day running of a busy commercial building.This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established FM provider and take responsibility for a prestigious West End property, offering a varied role where you can remain technically hands-on while developing further within engineering management
