Maintenance Supervisor – FM Service Provider – Central London - Up to £55,000 per annum
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a prominent commercial building in Central London. The property is a large, modern office development in the heart of the City, providing a busy and professional facilities management environment.The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of electrical and general building services across the site. The role involves supervising a team of engineers, coordinating planned and reactive maintenance, managing specialist contractors, and ensuring statutory compliance and health and safety standards are consistently maintained. You will also work closely with the client and key stakeholders to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the building.
Hours of Work
Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 17:00pm
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate building maintenance engineers and specialist subcontractors
Ensure all planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive works are delivered to required standards
Review, approve, and manage RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements)
Issue and control Permits to Work in line with site safety procedures
Monitor and update CAFM systems, ensuring accurate maintenance records
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company policies
Produce reports, track KPIs/SLAs, and support contract performance reviews
Liaise with clients, tenants, and internal teams to maintain high service levels
Identify plant or system defects and coordinate remedial works
Assist with quotations, scopes of work, and technical recommendations
Support the Contract Manager with day-to-day contract delivery and continuous improvementRequirements
Electrically Qualification (City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent)
Previous supervisory or lead experience within FM/building services
Strong understanding of RAMS, permits to work, and compliance processes
Experience using CAFM systems and producing reports
Good knowledge of commercial building services (HVAC, electrical, etc.)
Excellent customer service skills
