Maintenance Shift Leader

Our current Maintenance Shift Leader is heading into well-deserved retirement, therefore we are now looking to recruit a Maintenance Shift Leader to join us in the repack and warehouse area within our Market Drayton site, to lead all maintenance team activities to achieve target KPIS within cost and help with the development of the maintenance team.

In this role the key responsibilities will include:
Ensuring all equipment is maintained
Develop and coach the Maintenance Engineering team - (approx. 10 members)
Driving Continuous Improvement within the Maintenance team
To ensure that all planned works are completed on time and to within the quality requirements for the task
To work with the Engineering Stores department to ensure that all required parts are available, through use of the SAP and parts booking out procedures
Ensure Maintenance Engineering team use the correct tools to effectively and efficiently resolve breakdown faults
Managing the maintenance budget within area of responsibility Key skills & experience we're looking for from a Maintenance Shift Leader:
IOSH qualification
Engineering background
HND level or equivalent
Possesses knowledge in areas of process, filling, warehouse & repack
Strong technical bias
Analytical, planning and organisational skills
Root cause analysis
Experience of leading and developing an engineering team
Budget management experience
Demonstrable knowledge of complex fast moving clean environments (24/7- short life products) What's in it for you?
