About the Company
ATA are supporting a large manufacturing group at one of their flagship sites in the East Peterborough area. The group who operates within the industrial sector have multiple sites across the UK, employ over 2000 staff and boast a portfolio of manufactured goods second to none. These goods are some of UKs most recognisable brands of which have become a staple part of the British construction market. The site has been a
long-standing part of the community for a number of years and produces an
iconic product.
About the role
As Maintenance Planner, you'll play a key role in ensuring maintenance activities are effectively planned, coordinated and delivered across the site.
You'll work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure planned maintenance is completed safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to production.
Your responsibilities will include:
Using the site's CMMS system (Piranha) to plan and manage maintenance activities
Keeping maintenance records and logs fully up to date
Planning and coordinating planned shutdown periods
Scheduling maintenance activities and ensuring the necessary resources are available
Coordinating and managing external contractors
Ensuring contractors have the correct RAMS, PPE and work permits before commencing work
Setting up and managing SLA contracts
Supporting site compliance, health & safety and engineering standards
Working closely with engineers, production and other departments to improve maintenance planning
Identifying opportunities to improve maintenance efficiency and equipment reliability
About You
We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in a maintenance planning or coordination environment.
You could come from a variety of backgrounds, including:
Maintenance Planner
Maintenance Coordinator
Engineering Planner
Engineering Coordinator
Maintenance Supervisor
Engineering Shift Leader
Engineering Shift Manager
You should ideally have:
Experience planning or coordinating maintenance activities
Experience working within a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong organisational and planning skills
Excellent communication skills
An analytical and methodical approach to problem solving
Experience managing contractors would be advantageous
Knowledge of RAMS, permits to work and health & safety procedures
Experience using a CMMS system would be beneficial
