Handyman
Monday to Thursday 8am till 4pm and Friday early finish at 3pm, 30 min lunch break
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and practical Handyman near Pickering and Malton to carry out a variety of general repair, maintenance and improvement tasks to start as soon as possible, role is temporary, but it may lead to permanent.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out general repairs and maintenance.
* Complete basic plumbing repairs and installations.
* Carry out basic electrical tasks where appropriately qualified.
* Assemble and install shelving, and equipment.
* Carry out painting, decorating, filling, and finishing work.
* Repair doors, handles, locks, hinges, cupboards, and fixtures.
* Carry out general building and repair tasks.
* Keep work areas clean, safe, and organised.
* Complete jobs efficiently and to a good standard.
* Use tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
* Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Requirements
* Previous handyman or general maintenance experience preferred.
* Good practical and problem-solving skills.
* Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
* Good attention to detail.
* Good communication skills.
* Own tools are desirable.
* Relevant trade qualifications are an advantage
