Maintenance Operative
Pay: £35,000 Per Annum
Working Hours - Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
THN are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Operative to work in Full-Time within the Kettering/Northampton area.
We are the Housing Network (THN), a purpose-led organisation working in partnership with the YMCA to support our communities. We are in an exciting period of growth and are looking for experienced and passionate people to help us support vulnerable individuals and families experiencing homelessness.
The successful Maintenance Operative will be responsible for:
* Carry out scheduled work on void properties to bring back up to a high standard and in accordance with the Council’s targets prescribed in the contract
* Travelling from property to property within a specific region
* Oversee maintenance of common areas
* Basic carpentry, including door hanging and changing locks
* Painting and decorating, basic plumbing and electrical work
* Ensure the garden area is clear including fencing
The Maintenance Operative will have:
* Experienced working with all aspects of responsive property maintenance as well as planned maintenance
* Excellent communication skills
* IT skills and ability to confidently use applications to report works
* Extremely well organised
* Full UK Drivers Licence
