Interim Maintenance Manager
Location: Surrey
Contract: Interim – rolling one-month contract initially
Start Date: Immediate
We are recruiting for an experienced Interim Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance within a busy hotel and leisure environment.
This is a hands-on role covering planned and reactive maintenance, compliance and the day-to-day management of the maintenance function.
Key Responsibilities

Managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across plant, equipment and facilities.
*
Responding to reactive maintenance issues and breakdowns, including out-of-hours support when required.
*
Leading and coordinating the maintenance team and external contractors.
*
Ensuring Health & Safety, Fire Safety and statutory compliance requirements are met.
*
Managing water hygiene, Legionella and statutory checks.
*
Maintaining accurate, audit-ready maintenance and compliance records.
*
Working with BMS and HVAC systems and ensuring plant operates effectively.
*
Supporting maintenance projects and departmental works.
About You
*
Previous maintenance experience within hotel, hospitality, leisure or a similar facilities environment.
*
Strong practical knowledge of electrical, plumbing and mechanical maintenance.
*
Experience managing PPM and reactive maintenance.
*
Strong understanding of statutory compliance, Health & Safety and Fire Safety.
*
Experience with water hygiene and Legionella management.
*
Working knowledge of BMS and HVAC systems.
*
Pool plant experience would be desirable.
*
IOSH qualification would be desirable.
*
Immediate availability or the ability to start at short notice.
