Maintenance Manager - TXM Recruit are currently looking for a Maintenance Manager to work for a rapidly expanding retail property maintenance team in Southampton and Didcot, working at two of their Distribution Centres - Week split 2 days in one and 3 in the other, vice versa each week.
The Salary Bracket for the Maintenance Manager is between £55,000 and £60,000 per annum.
* 36 site hours per week from Monday – Friday.
* 8am to 4pm (this can be flexed if required to 7-3 or 6-2).
* 1-in-13 call out - £75 standby per day for 7 days (£525).
Reporting to Lead Maintenance Manager.
As a Maintenance Manager your duties will be but not limited to
* Managing a team of circa 8 multi skilled technicians covering HVAC & Refrigeration, Electrical & Mechanical and Building engineers.
* Supporting and liaising with external contractors for repairs.
* Attending meetings both in person and via Microsoft Teams
* Using the Microsoft Package and Verisae to effectively manage staff rotas, equipment, stock, and workload for all included.
* Identifying problems and detecting solutions.
* Forecasting and managing budgets.
* Driving the team and deliver the companies brand with equipment, uniform, technology, and training development.

The ideal candidate will have a management background within an environment such as Warehouse or Distribution and an understanding briefly of building maintenance, for example - AC, Electrics or Building Fabric. You will have good people skills and a good understanding of technology both handheld and desktops with experience on the Microsoft package.
