Multi‑Skilled Handy Person / Maintenance Operative (Temporary)
ONGOING TEMPORARY CONTRACT STARTING IMMEDIATELY!
BASED IN IVER, £15-20 PER HOUR DEPENDANT UPON EXPERIENCE
We are looking for a reliable and practical Multi‑Skilled Handy Person to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving and tackling a wide variety of maintenance tasks.
You'll be responsible for keeping equipment and facilities running smoothly, carrying out general repairs, and supporting day-to-day operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out general maintenance and "odd jobs" across the site
Perform basic plumbing tasks (water systems only, not gas), including fixing leaks and replacing fittings
Change bearings and undertake light mechanical repairs
Install and maintain compressed air lines from compressors
Diagnose issues and provide practical, efficient solutions
Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standardRequirements:
Must have your own tool bag and be fully self-sufficient on tools
Practical, hands-on experience in maintenance or similar role
Good problem-solving skills and a "can-do" attitude
Ability to work independently and manage varied tasks
