Maintenance Engineer (Multi-skilled)

£40,000 - £50,000 + 4 Day Week + Monday to Thursday (Friday off every week) + Progression + Training + Pension + Free Parking + Flexible start times

Are you a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer from a Manufacturing environment looking to work a stable 4 day week with progression into Technical Management as the company expands it's manufacturing processes?

This is a site-based role within a manufacturing / production environment which involves planned maintenance, reactive breakdowns and diagnostics of machinery such as press brakes, laser cutting machinery, CNC / production equipment, fabrication machinery

There is also clear scope for progression as the company continues to digitalise and improve its manufacturing processes.

The Role:

Carry out planned preventative maintenance across production machinery and site services
Respond to machinery breakdowns and minimise production downtime
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults
Work on press brakes, laser cutting machinery, CNC / production equipment, fabrication machinery and electrical assembly equipment
Support machine moves, installations, equipment modifications and commissioning
Monday to Thursday only, 9.75 hours per day
The Person:

Multi-Skilled Engineer
Manufacturing, production or industrial maintenance background
Able to maintain, fault-find and repair production machinery
Strong diagnostic ability across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
Able to carry out PPMs and reactive breakdown repairs independently
Comfortable working with production teams to reduce downtime and improve machinery reliability
Relevant engineering qualification such as HNC, HND, NVQ Level 3, apprenticeship or equivalent in electro-mechanical engineering, maintenance engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or similar
Open to mechanical or electrical bias, provided there is genuine hands-on multi-skilled ability
