Description:
We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a busy industrial site in Nottingham.
This is a permanent, Monday to Friday day-based position carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across production and processing equipment.
The role
* Planned preventative maintenance
* Reactive breakdown response
* Mechanical and electrical fault finding
* Maintenance of conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps and drive systems
* Hydraulic and pneumatic maintenance
* Supporting installations, repairs and engineering improvements
* Occasional Saturday overtime when required
The person
We are interested in engineers with experience working within manufacturing, recycling, heavy industry, FMCG or a similar production environment.
You should have:
* Previous maintenance engineering experience
* Strong mechanical or electrical fault-finding skills
* Experience maintaining industrial machinery
* A relevant engineering qualification
* A practical, hands-on approach
* The ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team
Package
* £35,000+ basic salary
* Monday-to-Friday day shift
* Overtime paid at time and a half
* Sundays paid at double time
* Permanent position
