Maintenance Engineer - Days
Salary up to £48,000 | Wrexham | Monday-Friday Days
Are you a Maintenance Engineer looking for a days-based role with an excellent work-life balance? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturer that is investing in its people, equipment and production facilities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable business with a strong order book and a supportive engineering team.
The Role
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery.
Respond quickly and effectively to equipment breakdowns.
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults, with basic electrical fault-finding where required.
Maintain conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, motors, chains, belts, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Strip, repair and rebuild mechanical assemblies.
Read and work from engineering drawings.
Support machinery improvements and reliability projects.What We're Looking For
Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or production environment.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills.
Basic electrical maintenance experience.
Experience working with industrial manufacturing machinery.
A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.What's on Offer
Salary of £45,000-£48,000.
Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
1 in 4 Saturdays (6-hour shift) with time off in lieu the following week.
