Maintenance Engineer

We're recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, high-volume manufacturing site operating state-of-the-art automated production machinery. This is an opportunity to become part of a strong engineering team where you'll play a key role in maintaining production reliability and driving continuous improvement.

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

* Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)

* Reactive breakdown maintenance

* Electrical fault finding and diagnostics

* PLC fault finding and automation support

* Mechanical repairs including bearings, gearboxes, chains, belts and conveyors

* Continuous improvement projects

* Supporting production to maximise machine uptime

You'll be working on a range of modern, automated manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

What We're Looking For

* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Maintenance

* Electrically biased with strong mechanical skills

* Previous manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or automated production experience

* PLC fault-finding experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar)

* Experience working with drives, sensors, motors and control systems

* A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
