The Position of a Maintenance Engineer:

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer, who is qualified and has a time served apprenticeship. We are looking for someone who has exposure of working the manufacturing industry, ideally the FMCG sector.

Strong continuous self-improvement and ethics is a must. The company are looking for someone who is able to prioritise and manage multiple opportunities and deadlines – organisation is a must!

Skills & Requirements of a Maintenance Engineer:

* HNC / HND / ONC Maintenance Qualification (Time Served)

* To have worked in some form of high demanding manufacturing industry, ideally within the FMCG sector or some high-pressured environment.

* Strong fault diagnostics and fault finding upon a range of machinery.

* To have had the exposure of working upon control systems

* Take on project work for line improvements.

* The ability to read engineering drawings.

* To have had the experience of working upon PPM schedules – perform routine maintenance and preventative repairs on existing systems

* Provide excellent customer service

* Adhere closely to repair schedules – log all repair times and repair complete, follow procedures and on site processes

Main Responsibilities of an Maintenance Engineer:

* Undertake the commissioning and installation of new plant equipment across the factory.

* Follow routine preventative and PPM schedules.

* To reactive to any faults upon machinery, rectifying faults and enabling this is being documented to prevent any occurring issues moving forward.

* Follow on site procedures to ensure the smooth running of plant equipment and machinery.

* All document to be completed as required.

* The ability to build relationships with internal departments and teams. Liaise with external contractors whilst on site
