A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading advanced manufacturing facility producing high-quality components for industry. Working within a modern, technology-driven environment, you will provide vital engineering support across a range of automated production equipment, helping maximise uptime, improve reliability, and support operational excellence. Working a variation of double days with excellent overtime, it is a great opportunity.
This role would suit a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer, with a strong electrical skillset. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, precision manufacturing environment surrounded by a close nit team, this is your type of opportunity. Ideal candidates with strong PLC fault-finding capability, and experience maintaining automated production machinery within automotive, FMCG, or similar sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Provide engineering support across a wide range of automated production equipment to maximise plant availability and performance.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, PLC, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults to minimise production downtime. Basic modifications will be required on PLC controlled automated equipment.
Complete planned preventative maintenance activities and identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability.
Monitor machinery performance, investigate recurring faults, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Work closely with production teams to maintain high standards of safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Salary - £40,000-£49,000 per annum + OT
