The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for keeping production running through planned preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown support across a wide range of manufacturing equipment.

Your responsibilities will include:

Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Reactive maintenance and breakdown repairs
Mechanical and electrical fault finding
Electrical installation work when required
Maintaining and improving a variety of manufacturing machinery including:

CNC machinery
Band saws
Conveyor systems
Compressors
Special purpose manufacturing equipment

This is a 70% mechanical / 30% electrical position, making it ideal for a mechanically biased multi-skilled engineer.

About You

To be successful in this Maintenance Engineer role, you should have:

Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within a manufacturing or factory environment
Multi-skilled maintenance experience with strong mechanical fault-finding ability
Electrical competency, including fault finding and installation work
A recognised Level 3 Engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or apprenticeship)
A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a small, close-knit maintenance team
