With significant investment across its operations, strong career progression opportunities, and an excellent employee benefits package, this company has built a reputation as one of the best employers in the sector.

Working within a fast-paced production environment, you'll play a key role in maximising equipment reliability, reducing downtime and driving continuous improvement across the site.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of food manufacturing and production equipment.
Diagnosing faults and conducting root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues.
Supporting production teams to maximise machinery uptime and operational efficiency.
Delivering preventative maintenance activities to minimise breakdowns.
Assisting with the installation, commissioning and optimisation of new equipment.
Ensuring all work is completed in line with health, safety and food industry regulations.
Contributing to continuous improvement projects across the site.

About You

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

A recognised engineering apprenticeship.
NVQ Level 3, ONC, HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience carrying out root cause analysis within a manufacturing environment.
Previous food manufacturing experience would be advantageous, but not essential.

Why Apply?

This is more than just another maintenance role. You'll be joining a business that offers stability, genuine career progression, ongoing investment and a culture where engineers are valued. If you're looking for a challenging role with a leading employer that rewards and develops its people, we'd love to hear from you.
