Maintenance Engineer Westbury Wiltshire contract role for hands on role in production/ factory - must come from a process or manufacturing background.
Maintenance Engineer is needed for a world class packaging and print manufacturer that has an impeccable reputation and high standards however still hasn't lost its friendly culture and strong teamwork ethic. The company invest heavily in their staff and sites with world leading technology/ machinery and training.
Maintenance Engineer Westbury Wiltshire will be 12 hours days/ nights
6 months Maintenance Engineer contract minimum
£40-42ph umbrella contract rate
Maintenance Engineer duties;
Reactive and planned maintenance of production machinery across the whole site and process plant
Working on project related work to improve machinery and efficiency in a busy environment
Fault find on machinery and repair
Used to working with pumps, motors, gearboxes, etc.
Keep downtime to minimumRequirements for Maintenance Engineer
A formal engineering (mech or elec) qualification to at least City & Guilds level 2, NVQ level 3 or equivalent with corresponding practical experience.
Good working knowledge of automated systems/ production machinery
From a manufacturing background
Mechanical or Electrical proven experienceMaintenance Engineer role is commutable from Warminster, Frome, Beckington, Trowbridge, Westbury, Shepton Mallet, Bradford on Avon, Melksham, Bath, Devizies, Evercreech and other parts of Wiltshire and Somerset
