Maintenance Engineer Wanted!
City Energy Solutions (CES), a rapidly growing business that generates electricity and provides heat directly to customers' homes, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for our team based in East London.

The chance to help us build a safe and sustainable business for the future.Your role: You will be responsible for the corrective, preventative, and predictive maintenance in all areas of the process. This includes District Heating plant rooms, pumping stations, control systems, District Heating pipework networks, heat metering equipment, and boilers.
What we need from you:
A minimum Level 3 qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience and knowledge of the installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of District Heating systems and all associated plant.
Experience of IT communications systems.
The ability to look for best practice, innovate, and appropriately challenge existing processes to improve the plant operational and commercial performance.
Basic health and safety knowledge and competence in hazard identification, risk assessment, and management of risks.
Contract Engagement skills and experience to appropriately challenge contractors on the methods, quality, and standards of work.
Excellent understanding of the commercial and financial effects of plant operation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to form effective working relationships, deliver expert advice, and influence at all levels.
Must hold a full UK driving license.
It would be great if you had, but not mandatory:
Commercial Gas Safe Certificates including COCN1, CCN1, TPCP1, TPCP1A, and CODNCO1, or equivalent.
Experience of working on commercial boilers.
Domestic ACS, Gas Safe certificate, or equivalent.
Experience of working on commercial chillers.
