Maintenance Engineer
Salary £53,000 Per Annum
Bolton
gap technical are representing an established food manufacturing business in their search for a Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their facility in Bolton.
Performance Objectives
Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out repairs safely and efficiently.
Complete maintenance reports and documentation accurately within required timescales.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of the Engineering department.
Help achieve Engineering KPIs and operational targets.
Participate in both planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
Assist with the development and full utilisation of the CMMS system.
Mentor and support fellow team members where required.
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Production and other support departments.
Ensure compliance with all company procedures, Health & Safety regulations, and Food Hygiene standards.
Maintain plant and equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Identify and implement productivity and labour-saving improvements alongside production teams.
Provide technical engineering support and training to Line Technicians. Person Specification
Strong engineering knowledge gained within an FMCG maintenance environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload effectively and demonstrate high performance standards.
Multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias with ONC / NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in Maintenance Engineering.
