Location: Bath / Surrounding Areas
Salary: Circa £58,000
Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts (Days & Nights)

The Opportunity:
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business based in the Bath area.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across production machinery.

Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical breakdowns efficiently, minimising production downtime.
*
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and performance.
*
Identify recurring faults and implement long-term engineering solutions.
*
Work closely with production and engineering teams to maximise operational efficiency.
*
Maintain high standards of health, safety and engineering best practice.
Skills & Experience
*
Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer or Maintenance Technician within a manufacturing environment.
*
Electrical, mechanical or multi-skilled maintenance background.
*
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving capabilities.
*
Experience maintaining automated production machinery would be advantageous.
*
A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
*
Relevant engineering qualifications would be beneficial.
