Description:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a leading organisation within the automated warehousing and logistics industry.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a highly automated distribution centre, maintaining and repairing machinery to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Shift Pattern
Early Shift: 02:00 - 10:00
Day Shift: 05:00 - 13:00
Late Shift: 10:00 - 18:00 / 11:00 - 19:00
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance.
Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and control system faults.
Respond to machinery breakdowns and minimise downtime.
Maintain automated warehouse equipment and conveyor systems.
Ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently.
Support continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
Requirements
NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer, Service Technician or Multi-Skilled Engineer.
Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience within automated warehouses, FMCG, manufacturing or distribution environments would be advantageous.
Ability to work independently and as part of an engineering team.
