Description:
Due to expansion across the business, this market leading organisation is seeking to appoint a Maintenance Engineer to join their already established maintenance engineering team.
An opportunity to join a leading brand that continue to offer training and Development as well as progression opportunities.
The maintenance engineer’s role is commutable from the following Area’s: Rochdale / Bury / Bolton / Oldam / Manchester.
Shift in place for the Maintenance engineer: 3 Shift Rota – Mornings, Afternoons, Nights

Experience the Maintenance Engineer will hold:
* Experienced within a Manufacturing / FMCG Environment.
* Qualified to an HNC / City & Guilds / NVQ – Engineering / Maintenance.
* Holding strong Mechanical abilities.
* At an advantage – slight electrical abilities – Rewiring.
* Experience with: Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Gearboxes, Conveyor systems, Textiles equipment, Shafts, Bearings, Belts, Sprockets, Chains.
Duties & Responsibilities:
* React to all Mechanical Breakdowns throughout the site.
* Maintain Textiles Equipment
* Rectify issues and provide feedback on pending breakdowns & Issues.
* Read Mechanical Drawings
* Create ways to improve basic mechanical and sewing issues.
* Learn and be willing to gain experience with Sewing equipment – and assist as and when necessary.
