Salary: £45,000 per annum
Shift: 12-Hour Days & Nights
Job Role of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
An excellent opportunity has become available for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business in Tayport, Fife.
This is an exciting role for a proactive engineer looking to work in a fast-paced production environment where reliability, continuous improvement, and teamwork are at the heart of the operation. Working a rotating 12-hour days and nights shift pattern, you will be responsible for maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime, and ensuring machinery operates safely and efficiently.
Non-Negotiable Requirements
Previous maintenance experience within an manufacturing environment.
Experience carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and breakdown repairs.
Multi-skilled engineering experience with both mechanical and electrical maintenance.
Essential Requirements
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
Recognised engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC, or equivalent).
Experience maintaining production or automated machinery.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and health & safety.
Desirable Requirements
Experience working within the UK manufacturing sector.
Knowledge of PLC fault finding.
Experience with conveyors, motors, pumps, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
