Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client a leading food manufacturer in their search for a Maintenance Engineer to work in their leading facility in Shropshire.
For the successful Maintenance Engineer our client is offering
Up to £45,000 per annum DOE
4 on 4 off shift system (2 days. 2 nights 12 hour shifts)

The Role - Maintenance Engineer
To observe, recognise and report on machinery or component defects or symptoms of impending failure and provide CMMS data.
Carry out Planned and Preventative maintenance to agreed schedules.
To diagnose faults and to test, repair and maintain Mechanical /Electrical equipment
Carry out autonomous breakdown tasks and preventative maintenance tasks competently and correctly, recording work carried out in appropriate documentation / data base (CMMS).
To interpret and implement technical service instruction data relating to machinery and equipment.
Use and support simple 5WHY OE techniques / RCA techniques through to 100 year fix.
Use of TIMWOODS to identify and Reduce production waste.
Any other duties as per business needs
What our client is looking for in a Maintenance Engineer
Previous experience in a similar role in a maintenance environment - ESSENTIAL
Recognised Engineering Apprenticeship or ONC / HNC Or equivalent in either Mechanical or electrical disciplines or Degree trained- ESSENTIAL
Experience using CMMS systems - ESSENTIAL
Previous experience within the food manufacturing or food packaging industry - ESSENTIAL
Due to the location of the site you MUST have your own transport.
