Maintenance Engineer – DorkingSalary: £40,000–£45,000 (DOE)
Hours: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week

What You’ll Be Doing as a Maintenance Engineer
Respond rapidly to breakdowns across a diverse range of equipment – from hand tools and compressors to heating systems and robotic welding cells.
Diagnose faults, carry out effective repairs, and reduce downtime.
Maintain a strong focus on Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance.
Lead the charge on preventative maintenance and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
Work closely with internal teams and external contractors to keep every system performing at its best.What You’ll Bring as a Maintenance EngineerEssential:

City & Guilds or equivalent maintenance qualification.
Strong hands‑on maintenance skills with a safety‑first approach.
Ability to prioritise workload and work independently or within a team.
Full driving licence.
Experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.Desirable:

Experience with TPM and continuous improvement initiatives.
Understanding of PUWER, LOLER, and H&S standards (IOSH).
