Up to £45,000 + Bonus | Monday to Friday Days | Permanent

Our client is an established and highly successful plastics manufacturer undergoing significant investment and expansion. Operating within a modern production environment, they are committed to innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable manufacturing practices. As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to strengthen their engineering team.

Working closely with production and engineering colleagues, you will play a key role in maximising equipment performance, reducing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of manufacturing equipment.
Diagnosing and resolving mechanical faults to ensure maximum machine uptime.
Supporting the optimisation and continuous improvement of production processes.
Assisting with equipment upgrades, modifications, and improvement projects.
Working collaboratively with production teams to identify and address operational issues.
Contributing to a proactive maintenance culture focused on reliability and performance.To be successful in this role, the ideal Maintenance Engineer will have:

Previous experience within a plastic injection moulding based manufacturing or production environment.
Strong mechanical engineering skills, with knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
Experience maintaining automated production machinery.
Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
A proactive, hands-on approach with a strong work ethic.
