Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Darlaston
Salary: £45,000–£50,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Weekly rotating shifts, 06:00–14:00 and 11:00–19:00, subject to business needs
Industrial Recruitment Solutions Ltd (IRS) are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a battery recycling operation in Darlaston.
This opportunity would suit an engineer with both mechanical and electrical training who enjoys practical fault-finding and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
Duties will include:

Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on site machinery and equipment.

Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and completing repairs.
*
Responding to breakdowns and helping to minimise downtime.
*
Completing routine equipment inspections and maintenance records.
*
Supporting improvements to equipment reliability.
*
Working in accordance with site health and safety procedures.
The ideal candidate will have:

Mechanical and electrical training.
*
Previous maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
*
Strong fault-finding and practical problem-solving skills.
*
A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
*
Flexibility to work rotating shifts in line with business requirements.
